“Using Creative Thinking to Solve Business Challenges” – Alfred Cheung

Join us, as we host Alfred Cheung, a well-known Hong Kong, actor, director, writer, producer, entrepreneur, trainer and educator.  During his career, Alfred has won many screen writing and movie awards.

Alfred’s life changed when he became a Christian and was baptized in 2003.

“Before coming a Christian, I was like most people in Hong Kong, superstitious and worshipping different gods. I spent a few hours waiting for a colored Dragon King. I believed in Fung Shui. Both my wife and I look back and feel we were stupid to follow those superstitions.”

“In the past I indulged myself in earning money, but now I discovered that money could not bring happiness. Instead, it brings a lot of worries.”

“I hope to be a traveling evangelist when I retire. I now use my drama classes to do business training, using each class as an opportunity to share my faith.”

Alfred is involved in other mass media: TV, radio, advertising and publishing as well as IT platforms, F&B and drama training workshops. He is involved in business training, incorporating drama theory.

He founded ‘Alfred Cheung’s Acting Studio’. Through dramatic training and role-play, participants learn how to appreciate customers’ feelings and, ultimately, to build team spirit and enhance customer service standards.

Cheung is passionate in the performing arts and how it can transform education. He is the chairman of Dramatic English the leading education corporation in the Greater China region.

Cheung also runs a F&B business, including a Cantonese restaurant chain with branches named after his movies such as ‘Cousin Cafe’.

Recently he acquired two private kindergarten classes in for the purposes influencing children to be creative and diverse in their thinking, so that they can be better prepared to excel in life.

He is married Cindy Yeung and have three grown children. Cindy is the CEO of Emperor Watch & Jewelry, an international acclaimed retailer of the world’s most prestigious timepieces and a manufacturer of contemporary jewelry.
